About Me
Hi, I’m Shivam Damani, a 25-year-old Indian-American living in New York City.
In my professional life, I’m a Data Scientist with a strong academic foundation. I did my undergrad at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and I am currently pursuing a graduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Right now, I’m part of an incredible team at Mayo Clinic, helping to make sense of complex data and contributing to projects that aim to improve healthcare.
Outside of work, I am a runner, I enjoy learning about the history of NYC, and being outdoors in nature.
Professional Projects
At Mayo Clinic, I’m currently working on a tool designed to help providers review outside medical records efficiently. I’m implementing Generative AI features to enhance productivity, allowing healthcare providers to streamline their workflows and focus more on patient care.
I’m passionate about leveraging data science and AI to solve real-world problems. Here is one about NYC collisions.
Blog
Every month, I share updates on my personal and professional life. From marathon training to the latest breakthroughs in data science, my blog captures my journey, lessons learned, and goals for the future.
Here is the first one from November.
